As we look forward to celebrating Black History Month this October. We have a wonderful opportunity to be part of the national celebrations and to honour and learn more about the too-often unheralded accomplishments of Black Britons throughout our history.

Attached is a booklet that contains stories of influential black Britons who have impacted UK laws and equal rights.

We would like you to choose one person and summarise their main achievements in 5 bullet points.

If you would like to be Voice Rep, Eco Rep, Flash Rep, Online Safety Rep or Science Ambassador, please prepare a presentation (it does not have to be a powerpoint) explaining why you would like the role and what you can bring to the role. Remember to use persuading words, highlight your strengths and use your fantastic oracy skills.
