Summer Term - Time
We have been learning to tell the time to the hour and half hour, using an analogue clock. Some of the games and songs below will help children to understand.
Autumn 1
The children in Year 1 have been working on numbers to 10 covering the following objectives:
- counting forwards and backwards, including finding missing number on a number track
- 1 more and 1 less
- comparing numbers using < and > and =
- part part whole
- addition of two groups of numbers to find a total
All of this learning is carried out practically with objects before children do any recordings
