Diwali - Diwali Starts on the 20th of October. As part of our homework this week, we would like children to answer a Diwali question and answer sheet to build their comprehension skills. Please hand this homework in by next Wednesday 22nd October.

Spellings - Continue to practice this week's spellings in your spelling book. Spelling books are due in with work complete on Wednesdays.

Science - This week we have started our Science Materials topic. We have been exploring materials, their properties and characteristics. This week we would like you to get creative with materials and make a collage using various materials you have at home. Don't forget to have a look in your recycling. Please send pictures of your amazing collage to our email address and we can share them with the class.

Black History Month- This month is Black History month. As part of our homework this week, we would like the children to find out about an influential person in black history and write some facts about them. Please hand this homework in by next Wednesday 7th October.

Geography - In our geography lessons this term, we have been using our mapping skills. We created a map of Sale in our lesson after our walking tour of Sale. For your homework this week, we would like you to create a simple map of your road or an area near to where you live. You can be creative as you like using Lego or Play Doh or other resources and take a photo of your work or use the template below to help you draw your map. Make sure you include a key!
