Home Learning


This page provides you with learning links, so that if your child is off school and self-isolating due to Covid but feels well enough to work they have immediate access to a range of activities. Please note, that if the class bubble is closed and told to isolate, teachers will provide additional work through your child’s Microsoft year group TEAM. Your child has the log in details for this in their reading record. The links on this page are to be used if the children in your child’s class are still at school and just your child is self-isolating but is well enough to complete some work.

Oxford Owl: You can sign up for your own free account and access eBooks that link with your child’s home reading book band colour and also their Read Write Inc level. 


Ruth Miskin Training on YouTube: You can continue to practise the Read Write Inc. sounds with you children set 1, 2 and 3 by following some of the videos on this channel. 


Spelling Shed: Your child has their own individual username and password login in details for this site in their reading records. The children can access spelling games based on the Year 2 spelling objectives.

White Rose: The link currently has the objectives we have been covering this term in maths and has home learning access for parents to use.
