Amazing Anglo-Saxon Homework Projects
Well done to all of Five Newton for all the effort they put into their homework projects. From cooking and baking (and tasting) to drama, models of houses, coins, shields, diary entries, quizzes and rune puzzles, we had a brilliant few days visiting each exhibit in our Anglo-Saxon gallery. A brilliant end to a fantastic term.
Investigating Air Resistance
Using our knowledge and understanding of forces, we designed and created the "best" parachute. We decided that the parachute that fell the slowest would be the design that created the most air resistance when dropped. To make it a fair test, we made sure we kept the conditions of the drop the same. Some of tested different sizes of the same material, and some of us tested different materials. It was a lot of fun, and we felt like real life designers!
