Week Beginning 8th June 2020
Remember Graffiti Maths? Of course you do! We have been doing a lot of work on Shape and Space lately, but it is still important to keep up with number work. So, this week we have set you a number of problems to solve, which you could solve and record as a Graffiti Maths poster. We don’t recommend that you tackle all of these in one go, but set yourself some daily challenges and keep revisiting them as the week goes on. We’ll post the answers on here on Friday. And remember, you can send in photos of your final posters to our Year 5 email address. Good Luck!
Week Beginning 18th May
Happy Monday Year 5!
This week we have some work on Angles. First we will look at identifying types of angles, then we will look at identifying angles on a straight line. As always, there are a number of different activities for you to choose from - choose whichever you feel comfortable doing, but of course, feel free to do them all if you can! Answers will be posted here at the end of the week.

Week Beginning 4th May
Happy Monday Year 5!
This week we have some work on Calculating Area, which leads on from Finding the Perimeter. We will also look at Volume and Capacity. This is a challenging concept, especially as we are not in school to learn together nor with the supporting resources.
Therefore, there are a number of different activities for you to choose from - choose whichever you feel comfortable doing, but of course, feel free to do them all if you can! Answers will be posted here on Thursday.
